Principal Analyst

Maximus is currently seeking a Principal Analyst.
This role leads enterprise-wide data strategies and initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
This is a remote position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of enterprise-wide data strategies and initiatives to meet evolving business needs and contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements for data and analytics projects.
- Conduct return on investment (ROI) analyses to evaluate the financial impact of data initiatives and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
- Define and standardize key metrics and attributes to ensure consistency and accuracy across the organization.
- Develop and enforce data standards and best practices to promote data quality, integrity, and governance.
- Analyze and monitor business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure efficient workflows.
- Define product requirements for data and analytics tools and solutions, ensuring alignment with user needs and business objectives.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior analysts and developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment, transparency, and shared understanding of data initiatives.
- Implement and oversee data governance and security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
