Power System Engineer - I
Key Responsibilities:
Power System Analysis:
Conduct short-circuit, load flow, arc flash, and protection coordination studies.
Utilize ETAP and SKM software for system modeling and analysis.
Interpret and analyze one-line diagrams and ensure adherence to NEC and IEEE standards.
Project Execution:
Support project teams in delivering accurate and timely engineering studies.
Review project requirements and provide technical recommendations.
Ensure compliance with client specifications and regulatory guidelines.
Technical Documentation:
Prepare detailed engineering reports and study documentation.
Validate and maintain accurate project data and forecasts.
Collaboration & Support:
Work closely with project coordinators and study engineers to resolve technical queries.
Assist in training and mentoring new engineers on power system tools and processes.
Digital Tools & Data Management:
Proficient in Advanced Excel, Microsoft O365, Power BI, and other data visualization tools.
Exhibit interest in data engineering and process optimization for improved efficiency.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
* Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Preferred Skills:
Expertise in ETAP and SKM software.
Strong understanding of NEC, IEEE standards, and electrical safety codes.
Ability to interpret electrical diagrams and perform complex system studies.
Familiarity with data analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
