Hours: 7pm-7am

Days: 2-2-3 Rotating schedule

What is the job: As a Maintenance Technician with Avient, you are responsible for completing maintenance assignments to build, repair and/or maintain all equipment in good operating condition as quickly and accurately as possible; while keeping associated costs to a minimum to help meet Plant goals.

To be successful in this role you should be multi-skilled and able to contribute to plant maintenance activities in a variety of craft disciplines.

Qualifications

Education and Experience


* High School Diploma


* Associate's degree (A.A.) or Licensed Journeyman in lieu of degree or commensurate experience preferred.


* Proven expertise in troubleshooting controls systems, electric components, pneumatic, instrumentation and mechanical devices.

Proven expertise in industrial electrical, including design, sizing, installation and component level troubleshooting.


* Experience in other fields of maintenance such as plumbing, refrigeration, carpentry, welding, forklift repair, etc.

Competent PC (MS Office and Windows) computer skills desired.
