Asset Management - Data Owner Lead - Vice President

As a Data Owner Lead in Asset Management, you will work closely with the Product team to provide insights, analytics and data to support a data product within a function, such as an application, system, or discipline.

You will be responsible for addressing end user and application needs of third-party data requirements, inventory maintenance, month end audits, vendor reconciliation and data notification changes.
Job Responsibilities:
* Analyze data models and updates to ensure data standards and metadata have accurate business context.
* Provide requirements to curate and create new 'fit for purpose' data products to meet AM Investment Platform consumer needs.
* Review prioritization of MDA, IBEX, and ID REF applications
* Work on Software upgrade testing, validation, and signoff.
* Reconciling usage against inventory in FITS (Financial Information Tracking System) for cost savings
* Liaise with vendors on move, add or change on new subscription/cancellation/transfer of market data services
* Keep critical documents organized, updated and retained systematically in repository.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
* Self-starter, able to work autonomously
* Strong time management skills: efficient at multi-tasking and able to work under pressure to deliver multiple business demands on-time, to a high standard
* Proficiency in SQL, Python, or JAVA for hands-on curation, testing and evaluation of data products
* Detailed understanding of MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook etc.)
* Creative problem solver with ability to perform well under pressure.
* Detail oriented, with a highly disciplined approach to process and quality control.
* Ability to learn quickly, multi-task and self-manage priorities.
* Excellent client communications skills.
* Flexible & willing to work additional hours at peak times if necessary
* Strong team player.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills :
* Proficiency in SQL, Python, or JAVA for hands-on curation, testing and evaluation of data products
* Familiarity with business intelligence tools (ThoughtSpot, Tableau) to utilize audit reporting and build dashboards.
* Good knowledge of key market data offerings such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv FXT/Eikon/Workspace, Factset etc.
