Administrative Services Analyst II

The County of Riverside's Department of Public Social Services (DPSS) is seeking an Administrative Services Analyst II who will be assigned to the IHSS Public Authority, located in Moreno Valley, CA.

This position currently offers telecommuting options however telecommuting options are subject to business needs and are not guaranteed.

The incumbent will provide analytical support to the IHSS Public Authority and perform a wide variety of complex administrative tasks.

Duties of this position consist of, but are not limited to: planning and conducting special studies of major departmental programs and administrative practices; data analysis and forecasting trends in support of long-range planning projects; preparing high-level managerial reports of program performance and statistical data for presentation to departmental executive team; advising on continuous quality improvement including automation of manual processes; evaluating policies and procedures of existing department programs based on analyzed datasets and trends; making recommendations to solve multifaceted problems related to administration; assisting with administrative responsibilities associated with RivcoPRO; preparing and formatting system data for internal and external audits.

The most competitive candidates will have excellent oral and written communication skills; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite programs, Power BI, Adobe Programs, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), strong knowledge of interpreting collected data into clear, insightful charts and visual reports, and Database management; ability to interpret new and revised regulations and standard operating procedures; ability to complete data collections & integrations; and the ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.

Required: Candidates must have at least one-year prior experience in operational research, data analytics, statistics, and/or project management.
