Job Description:

Johnson & Johnson is hiring for a IT Business Reporting Analyst to join our team located in Shockwave Medical Costa Rica.

Position Overview

The IT Business Reporting Analyst will support the design, maintenance, and enhancement of Oracle-based reports and other reporting solutions that drive operational efficiency and informed decision-making across the organization

This role partners with business users, functional analysts, and developers to ensure accurate and timely reporting aligned with business requirements and Oracle or other reporting solutions data structures.

Job Functions



* Assist in creating and modifying reports using Oracle BI Publisher (BIP), OTBI, and SQL queries.


* Support data analysis and validation to ensure the accuracy and consistency of report outputs.


* Collaborate with business users to understand reporting needs and translate them into functional requirements.


* Maintain and update existing reports as business processes or data models change.


* Document report specifications, data sources, logic for transparency and knowledge sharing.


* Participate in testing and deployment of new reports and enhancements.


* Provide first-level support for reporting incidents or user inquiries.


* Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to standardize or automate reporting processes.

Requirements:

Education:


* Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or currently an advanced student in one of these programs will also be considered.

Experience (preferred but not required):


* 0–2 years of experience in Oracle ERP environments or similar systems.


* Exposure to reporting tools such as Oracle BI Publisher, OTBI, or Power BI.


* Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


* Attention to detail and data accuracy.


* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.


* Good communication and documentation skills.


* Eagerness to learn Oracle tools, data models, and business processes.
