IMG Academy is seeking a qualified part time individual to join our Golf Club grounds team.

IMG Academy is one of the best athletic training environments in the world.

Professional quality facilities and immaculately maintained grounds are the standard.

This position is a great opportunity for an individual who is eager to learn all facets of golf course maintenance.

A strong ability to work well with coworkers and supervisors in a team environment is expected.

Position Responsibilities


* Assist with daily course setup: mowing, raking bunkers, moving tee markers, and changing pin locations


* Safely operate and clean equipment such as mowers, utility carts, and small power tools


* Rake and maintain sand bunkers


* Edge and trim around greens, bunkers, cart paths, and ponds


* Remove debris, leaves, and litter from course grounds


* Report course conditions and any equipment issues to supervisors


* Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications


* Strong attention to detail and positive attitude


* Team oriented with good communication skills


* Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.


* Reliable transportation and punctuality required


* Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with employees while adapting to new ideas and techniques.


* Ability to meet deadlines under pressure and/or frequently deal with a rapidly changing work schedule and environment throughout the day

Physical Demands and Work Environment


* Ability to lift, carry, move, push and pull equipment or boxes up to 40lbs


* Ability to stand and walk for duration of shift


* Ability to work on various indoor and outdoor surfaces including grass, turf, courts, etc.

in all weather


* Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment
