Maintenance Mechanic - Night Shift

ConMet - Canton, NC location is looking to fill a Maintenance Mechanic position to perform maintenance and repairs on a variety of injection molding/assembly mechanical equipment and systems.

This is a 12 Hour Night shift Position.

What You Will Do: 


* Perform maintenance and repair tasks on a variety of injection molding/assembly mechanical equipment and systems



* Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues



* Perform required preventative maintenance


* Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in root cause analysis



* Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues



* Observe and comply with all company rules and regulations including the NFPA 70E Arc Flash PPE and procedures


* Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production interruptions

 

What You Need to be Successful: 


* High school diploma or equivalent; technical/vocational training preferred


* Minimum 2 years of related maintenance mechanic experience preferred; in lieu of experience, mechanical aptitude required


* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints required


* Proficiency in using hand and power tools for repairs and installations


* Experience in field service, hydraulics systems or industrial electrician roles is a plus


* Good working knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
