Koch Engineered Solutions (KES) is hiring a Senior Director of Strategy and Business Development in Wichita, KS.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping KES's growth by serving as a strategic partner to business leaders within KES, driving growth through creative identification and implementation of changes via organic growth, business transformation, and M&A.

You will need to be a strong, strategic, and economic thinker, be willing to challenge the status quo, have exceptional relationship-building skills, and have the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive value creation.

What You Will Do



* Strategic Collaboration: Partner with KES business unit leaders to develop and execute strategic initiatives that enhance performance and market competitiveness.


* Performance Optimization: Provide analytical and strategic support to identify opportunities for improvements, cost efficiencies, and revenue growth.


* Change Management: Support business leaders in implementing transformative initiatives, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.


* Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, to align efforts with KES's broader vision.


* Deal Sourcing and Evaluation: Identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential acquisition targets aligned with KES's growth strategy.


* Due Diligence: Lead comprehensive due diligence processes, including financial, operational, and cultural assessments, to ensure alignment with KES's vision and values.


* Investment Analysis: Develop economics to support decision-making.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)



* Progressive experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or corporate development roles.


* Deep experience in financial and economic decision-making.


* Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and execution.


* Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive results in a dynamic environment.


* Experience in corporate/business development, capital allocation, investments, and acquisitions.


* Experience partnering, leading, and influencing through change initiatives or business transformation.

What Will Put You Ahead



* Bachelor's degree or higher in business, finance, engineering, or a related field


* Experience within the manufacturing, energy, or related industrial sectors


* Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, matrixed environment


* Familiarity with financial modeling and valuation techniques for deal assessment


* Experience working in or with organizations with a global footprint
