What is the job?
As a Part Time Room Attendant, you’ll play a key role in creating an exceptional guest experience.
You’ll ensure every room and suite is perfectly prepared, fresh, and welcoming - providing a relaxing haven for guests to unwind after a busy day or a comfortable space to catch up on last-minute work.
Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will help deliver the high standards Crowne Plaza Hobart is known for.
Your day to day
* Ensure every guest room meets our high standards - your attention to detail makes each space special and memorable.
* Assist guests with requests, such as providing amenities or offering directions, with a warm and helpful attitude.
* Keep your supervisor informed on room status and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
* Follow all safety procedures and wear protective equipment when required to maintain a safe work environment.
* Stay organized by managing supplies and amenities efficiently, while minimizing waste.
* Handle lost and found items according to hotel policy, ensuring they are logged and returned to their owners whenever possible.
* Maintain a professional appearance by wearing your uniform with pride.
* Support the team with ad-hoc duties when needed - working together to deliver exceptional service.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and outstanding guest experiences.
* Assist with deep cleaning projects and turndown service as required.
* Perform additional duties as assigned to support hotel operations.
What we need from you
* Ability to perform tasks that involve standing and moving for extended periods as part of the role’s inherent requirements.
* Comfortable with regular bending, reaching, and handling items during cleaning and room preparation.
* Ability to lift, carry, or move items such as linen and amenities as required for the role.
