Loader/Forklift driver

Leer East in Milton, PA is seeking highly motivated dependable employees to join our team loading caps onto trailers.

Description/ Details: working in the yard loading trailers

Must be able to work outdoors in all weather and to work every Saturday.

Must have high level forklift driving skills.

Overtime may be built into the schedule and Saturday availability is required.

1 - 3 years manufacturing experience preferred.

Leer provides full time hours, overtime, & 10 paid holidays from date of hire.

Eligibility for a competitive benefit package is after only 30 days of full time employment and includes paid holidays, group health insurance, prescription drug coverage, dental, vision, short-term disability and a 401(k) plan.

Paid vacation after 1 year.

Requirements:

Must have transportation, NOT accessible by public transportation

Pass a 7 year criminal background check and drug screen

Will be working for a growing, well-established fiberglass truck cap manufacturing company.

Must be able to work outdoors in all weather and to work every Saturday.

Must be able to drive a forklift

Experience: Forklift Experience Prior truck loading

Be capable of any or all of the following:

+ Open and clean trailers
+ Help where needed
+ Cut off all old wire ties
+ Clear track
+ Take red tags and incompletes up
+ Help load covers and set trailers when possible
+ Double check flat stock is pinned
+ Clamp caps
+ Locate loads
+ Double check trailer is clean of all parts and garbage
+ Watch loader for damage
+ Cut wire ties where needed.
+ Set trailers
+ Locate load if needed
+ Load caps and covers
+ Double check load for correct units when finished loading trailer
+ Set trailers
+ Locate load
+ Double check trailers are clean and correct

Education Requirements:

High School graduate / GED
