Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm

JOB SUMMARY:

The Supervisor II, Day Program is responsible for leading and supporting day program activities for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

This role provides direction to staff, ensures program quality, and fosters participant independence through effective program coordination, relationship management, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Program Coordination:


* The Day Program Supervisor provides direction, supervision, and case management oversight for participants, including intake, assessment, individualized program planning, and progress documentation.

The incumbent develops and implements well-rounded activities and monthly calendars tailored to participant needs, ensures alignment with data collection and outcome management goals, and coordinates community integration and reverse integration activities to build strong partnerships.

The Day Program Supervisor also plans and conducts unique events, such as parties and annual elections, and fosters participant independence through proactive problem-solving and innovative day program techniques.

Staff Support and Development:


* The Day Program Supervisor supervises direct reports, monitors performance, and conducts 90-day and annual evaluations, ensuring staff accountability, attendance, and adherence to job duties.

The incumbent provides leadership in maintaining a positive environment, trains team members on new systems, and fosters a collaborative team culture.

The Day Program Supervisor also manages personnel matters, including timesheet approval, coverage for absences, and conflict resolution, handling all issues with professionalism, integrity, and adherence to organizational standards.

Tracking, Documenting, and Reporting: 


* The Day Program Supervisor will oversee and maintain required case management paperwork, including mandatory reports to state agencies, police, or Adult Protective Services as needed.
