Summer 2026 Human Resources People Analytics Intern

The Kroger Summer Internship Program is a 12-week immersive experience that offers students an opportunity to grow their careers through a variety of focused internship assignments.

Rotation dates: May 18 - August 7.

Minimum


* Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Human Resources, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.


* Applicants must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Kroger Co (i.e., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant status)


* Strong analytical skills with experience in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and data visualization (proficiency in tools such as Excel, R, Python, SQL and PowerBI).


* Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.


* Solid understanding of HR concepts and principles, with a passion for applying analytics to solve real-world business challenges.


* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.


* Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and drive projects forward in a fast-paced environment.


* Accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to preserve confidentiality of information


* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to present information to various levels of the organization


* Managing multiple priorities between school, work or extra-curricular activities


* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)


* Significant level of multi-tasking

* Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in people analytics and HR technology.


* Prior internship or coursework in HR analytics, organizational psychology, or data analysis is a plus.


* Experience with Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics


* Involvement in leadership and community activities


* Background in data analysis


* Coursework and/or practical experience with digital marketing
