The Inventory Clerk - Level 1 is responsible for accurate data entry and recordkeeping of inventory transactions, including receipts, transfers, production usage, and adjustments.

This role supports inventory control through physical counts, reconciliations, reporting, and discrepancy resolution.

The clerk ensures timely material availability, cross-functional communication, and compliance with quality, safety, and 6S standards.

Essential Duties:

Inventory Management & Data Entry:



* Accurately enter and track inventory receipts, transfers, usage, adjustments, lot codes, and component usage


* Maintain inventory balance reports, safety stock, demand rates, and track canceled or reduced purchase orders


* Conduct weekly reconciliations for spare parts and support scrap/recovery processes

Physical Inventory & Reporting:



* Assist with monthly and year-end physical inventory counts and verify counts against system records


* Investigate discrepancies and maintain accurate records of quality issues, inspections, and deviations


* Generate and distribute inventory, production, shipping, and receiving reports on time

Cross-Functional Support:



* Communicate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to resolve inventory or quality issues in a timely manner


* Respond to inventory-related inquiries and assist other departments as needed


* Order and maintain production supply materials to support uninterrupted production

Quality, Safety & Compliance:



* Follow all quality standards, safety protocols, and company policies, including 6S


* Operate and maintain tools and equipment within functional area


* Report quality concerns or deviations promptly to supervisors or engineering staff


* Support proper implementation of processes and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications


* Ability to train others at same or lower level within functional area


* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and wear required PPE


* Ability to work all scheduled shift hours
