R&D Director for DCS (Data Center Systems)



* Role and Responsibilities:

+ Build a Global Center of Excellence:

Build India R&D into a key global center for delivering three-phase UPS "hero offers", three-phase PDUs, and auxiliaries.

Collaborate across regions to integrate India's R&D capabilities into Schneider Electric's global product roadmap and technology leadership.
+ Set the Vision and Strategy:
Define and lead the R&D vision for three-phase UPS products, ensuring alignment with Schneider Electric's global technology and sustainability goals.
+ Drive Innovation & Thought Leadership:
Lead the development and timely delivery of major strategic projects, driving differentiated technology, superior quality, and cost competitiveness.

Managing project and product deliveries to meet timelines, quality, and cost goals.

Act as a key spokesperson for India's R&D center, representing Schneider Electric in global forums and contributing to industry leadership.
+ Establish World-Class Infrastructure:
Expand and manage advanced labs, including 3MW power labs, firmware and NPI facilities, LiB testing, and load expansion capabilities.
+ Lead ETO Capability:

Set up and lead a dedicated Engineer-To-Order (ETO) team to support global customer-specific solutions and complex engineering demands.

+ Foster External Ecosystems:

Develop robust partnerships with suppliers, research institutions, freelancers, and technology partners to accelerate innovation.

+ Cultivate Talent and Culture:

Inspire and mentor high-performing teams, promoting a culture of creativity, technical excellence, and continuous learning.

* Educational qualifications: Master's degree in Power Electronics or related field (preferred).
