Building and Grounds Supervisor
Job Summary:
The Building and Grounds Supervisor oversees the maintenance and functionality of the bank’s property, ensuring all systems are working properly.
This role combines technical skills with project management, requiring both hands-on maintenance and coordination with vendors for specialized tasks.
Essential Duties:
* Schedules, coordinates, directs, and performs routine and comprehensive maintenance of TAB Bank facilities.
* Orders and stocks facilities with paper and supplies.
* Reports and responds to emergency calls for custodial assistance during business hours.
* Responds to service requests, coordinates resources to implement the set up and take down of furniture and equipment for a wide variety of events.
* Performs various maintenance and custodial duties such as installation and repair to fixtures in restrooms, and other areas.
* Troubleshoots and repairs minor plumbing and electrical problems.
* Grounds keeping duties such as snow & ice removal from sidewalks, landscaping, mowing, waterfall maintenance, leaf cleanup, and sprinkler repair may also be required.
* Maintains inventory and submits written requests for supplies; tests and evaluates new supplies and equipment.
* Operates power equipment such as pressure washer, hand, and power tools.
* Performs preventative maintenance in and around facilities.
* Maintain lights, plugs & breakers.
* Perform minor repairs and paint.
* Maintain HVAC controls, filters & repair for building and server room.
* Test and maintain generator weekly.
* Coordinate 3^rd party services and be a point of contact for vendors.
* Vendor Coordination: Collaborates with the custodial company for cleanliness and works with external contractors for specialized repairs.
* Event Setup & Cleanup: Preparing and cleaning up after various bank-hosted events.
* Additional duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
* High School diploma or GED
* 4 years of building maintenance or any equivalent combination of training and experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements:
* Knowledge of trades related to building maintenance and repair.
* Knowledge of a variety of building maintenance procedures and techniques.
* Knowledge of machinery, equipment, and tools necessary for the maintenance and repair of public buildings.
* Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions; able to work with pesticides and safely dispose of hazardous materials.
* Knowledge of cleaning processes.
* Ability to read and follow blueprints and assembly instructions.
* Experience operating manual and power equipment.
* Establish and maintain effective working relationships with company employees and the public; demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for a diverse population.
