Metal Worker 1st shift

SUMMARY:

A Metal Worker will process two or more metal pieces and connect them buy heating and flowing a filler metal into the joint and gluing them together without melting the base material - Braze work.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


* Blending of surfaces and applying or removing excess material with hand tools or machinery


* Set-up and use of various machines, fixtures, and tools, mixing production materials


* Part modification to specifications, Must follow production specifications at all times


* Embrace/implement continuous improvement and lean principles in all activities


* Regular and reliable attendance

QUALIFICATIONS:


* High School Diploma or equivalent


* Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English


* Good reading comprehension skills


* Experience in manufacturing, industrial or construction environment (preferred)


* Manufacturing certification a plus
