Position Summary:

As an HSE Supervisor at CAM Industrial Solutions, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining safety programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with OHS legislation and client safety standards.

Reporting to the Site HSE Manager, you will work closely with site leadership and field personnel to promote a strong safety culture and reduce risk in daily operations.

This position requires a proactive leader who can identify safety hazards, conduct inspections, support incident investigations, and provide coaching to site teams.

You will play a key role in ensuring safety compliance while fostering a positive and engaged workforce.

Primary Responsibilities:


* Ensure compliance with OHS regulations, CAM safety policies, and client safety standards.


* Support the Site HSE Manager in implementing and monitoring health and safety programs.


* Conduct site safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.


* Lead toolbox talks, safety meetings, and training sessions to reinforce a culture of safety.


* Assist in incident investigations, ensuring thorough root cause analysis and corrective actions.


* Ensure accurate and timely completion of safety reports, including incident summaries and lessons learned.


* Monitor leading and lagging safety indicators and work with leadership to implement improvement strategies.


* Maintain a strong presence in the field (approximately 75% field, 25% office) to actively support site workers.


* Act as a safety mentor and coach, providing real-time guidance on safe work practices and procedures.


* Work closely with supervisors and site personnel to address safety concerns and ensure compliance.


* Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, training, and compliance actions.


* Assist in developing safety reports, presentations, and compliance documentation for site leadership.


* Track and follow up on corrective actions and safety improvements to ensure timely completion.

Qualifications:


* 5+ years of experience in HSE roles within industrial, construction, or oil & gas environments.
