VIE - Junior Retail Merchandiser M/F
Hermes has today 7 stores in Mexico - 3 in CDMX, 3 in the rest of the Republic as well as an Ecommerce.
In the last 3 years, the organic growth has been very dynamic, and a lot of projects are going one to keep developing this promising market.
The Retail Merchandising team is considered as the product specialist of the subsidiary.
It is responsible for developing the business through analysis and buying strategies to maximise growth opportunities.
This department reports directly to the Retail and Retail Merchandising Director and give support to all stores, including ecommerce.
GENERAL ROLE
* Under the responsibility of the Retail Merchandiser, the Junior Merchandiser oversees several product categories and is managing the life cycle of the products.
The duties include reviewing orders, following delivery process, forecasting & analysing sales, stock management, etc.
* Coordinate sales activities and support stores to develop sales and clients experience according to company principles and guidelines
1.Budgeting
* Co-define Metier's strategies and priorities with the Retail Merchandising Manager
* Work closely with the Stores Managers to build annual sales budget.
* Evaluate and forecast sales and inventory.

Buying
* Provide seasonal Open-to-buy and prepare a detailed buying plan and guidelines.
* Accompany store managers during buying - collections, permanent stock, reorder.
* Qualitatively and quantitatively monitor and control buying and orders.
* Balance between store buying and central buying.
3.
Stock Management
* Partner with the Business Analyst to define the ideal level of stock for each products category and segments - store, distribution center, transit, and RAL.
* Follow delivery-rate and maximize on-time deliveries.
* Follow-up of the month of stock and depreciated stock level to match company guidelines.
* Monitor sales and sell-thru progress and propose effective strategies & tactics to encourage sales.
Manage stock transfers.
* Review the price adjustment and stock destocking.

Sales Analysis
* Generate monthly sales reports, market & trend reports based on market research, annual strategic planning, etc.
* Animate sales activities to manage a healthy inventory balance.
* Collect customer feedback from stores, communicate key findings and incorporate learning in end-of-season analysis and buying recommendation
5.
Sales Animations and Business Development
* Work Closely with Paris to collect best practices, find supports and give Mexico visibility.
* Communicate and work closely with Commercial (Visual Merchandising and Customer Experience), Digital and Communication teams to build and implement 360
* action plan to support business.
* Manage product launches; Ensure merchandise is properly displayed and stocked at store level to reflect global strategy defined as well as customers' needs.
