Senior Support Specialist

As a Billing and EDI Specialist at CareTracker, you will play a crucial role in supporting our customers by ensuring the smooth functioning of billing and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) tasks within our Practice Management software.

 You will be responsible for collaborating with healthcare providers and practices to optimize revenue cycles, minimize billing errors, and enhance overall operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Billing Operations


* Support end to end billing processes, including claim submission, payment posting, and reconciliation.


* Review and analyze billing data to identify discrepancies and resolve billing issues promptly.


* Collaborate with customers to understand their specific billing requirements and potentially customize solutions accordingly.

EDI Implementation and Support


* Oversee the implementation of EDI solutions for seamless data exchange between healthcare providers and payers.


* Provide ongoing support for EDI transactions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity.


* Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to EDI in healthcare.

Customer Support


* Serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding practice management functionality including billing and EDI-related inquiries.


* Conduct workshops to educate users on best practices and optimal utilization of our software for practice management and billing tasks (ie: scheduling, registration, eligibility, collections, etc).

Collaboration with Development Teams


* Work closely with software development teams to identify areas for improvement in the practice management software.


* Contribute to the development of new features and enhancements to address evolving customer needs. 

Qualifications


* Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Management, Business, or related field. 


* Proven experience in healthcare billing, revenue cycle management, and EDI processes.


* Familiarity with industry standards such as HIPAA, ANSI X12, and NCPDP.


* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.


* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


* Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.


* Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
