Responsibilities:


* Assess and diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders in residents.


* Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to address communication and swallowing challenges.


* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive resident care.


* Educate residents, families, and staff on strategies to improve communication and swallowing functions.


* Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.


* Participate in care planning meetings and contribute to the overall quality of care provided to residents.

Qualifications:


* Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.


* Current California license as a Speech Language Pathologist.


* Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings is preferred.


* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach to care.


* Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
