Your Role

As a Sustaining Electrical Engineer with expertise in analog and digital circuit design, embedded design, and test systems, you will play a critical role in ensuring the continued performance, reliability, and quality of our electrical products.

Your responsibilities will encompass troubleshooting and resolving issues in existing electrical systems, optimizing designs for cost and performance, and developing and maintaining test systems to ensure product quality and functionality:

Analog and Digital Circuit Design

+ Analyze and improve existing analog and digital circuits within electronic products.
+ Develop new analog and digital circuit designs or modifications to meet evolving product requirements.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compatibility with other system components.

Embedded Design:

+ Debug and enhance embedded systems firmware/software.
+ Implement firmware upgrades and patches to address performance or security issues.
+ Optimize embedded code for efficiency, power consumption, and reliability.

Test Systems Development:

+ Design and maintain test systems for validating product functionality and quality.
+ Develop automated test scripts and procedures.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test systems and hardware interfaces.

Product Sustaining:

+ Investigate and resolve hardware and software issues reported by customers or internal teams.
+ Collaborate with R&D teams to incorporate improvements and design changes into existing products.
+ Provide technical support to production, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams.

Documentation and Reporting:

+ Maintain comprehensive documentation of design changes, test procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
+ Generate reports and documentation for product improvements and issue resolution.

Cost Optimization:

+ Identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining or improving product performance and quality.
+ Work with suppliers to select cost-effective components and materials.
