Investment Grade Finance

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Structure credit facilities for JPM's clients with respect to covenant terms, lending structure and legal entity issues, and loan pricing.

Advise senior management of JPM's clients as to loan syndication strategy to achieve financing goals based on analysis and review of financial conditions.

Perform financial analysis of companies' capital structures to provide recommendations on debt capacity.

Advise JPM's clients on the underwriting and structuring of bonds based on debt capacity, capital structure, and market conditions.

Prepare presentation books and pitch materials for client meetings and discussions.

Work with internal client coverage and product partners to execute transactions.

Market JPM's capabilities to lead client credit facilities and bonds and generate fee revenues from leading deals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field of study plus Five [5] years of experience in the job offered or as Investment Grade Finance, Credit Risk Management or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: credit risk for a financial institution; advising senior clients on financing strategies to successfully raise capital in the debt capital markets; independently negotiating lending terms and fees; structuring complex syndicated credit facilities and private debt placements, for either unsecured or secured by borrowing base financial assets; analyzing credit risk of non- traditional borrowers such as REITs or similar tax-efficient financial entities such as Business Development Corporations, Captive Finance Companies, or Private Funds; Fixed income market, including the syndicated loan market; Financial statement analysis, including due diligence of historical financials and projections of balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements; Conducting accounting and business due diligence.

Must possess the following certifications: FINRA Series 79 or Series 79TO; FINRA Series 63 or Series 63TO; and SIE.

Full-Time.

Salary: $285,000 - $285,000 per year.
