Senior Specialist, Billing Resolution

As a Lead Specialist, Billing at RXO, you will help coordinate billing and related tasks as liaison between Operations and Accounting/Finance for our Air Charter business unit, working with operations and business unit leaders to create and implement effective billing/settlement process.

What your day-to-day will look like:


* Audit freight invoices by interpreting and applying customer contracts, terms and conditions


* Research, analyze and identify issues and errors on freight invoices and bills of lading; collaborate with internal and external parties as needed to resolve issues


* Audit invoices before sending to customer to verify they are accurate and collectible



* Perform account maintenance to add, change or delete customer information, data elements or attributes


* Reconciliation of TMS and ERP systems and input into continuous improvement


* Weekly and monthly operational and financial reporting


* Perform various office management/administrative duties

What you’ll need to excel:

At a minimum, you’ll need:


* 2 years related experience in transportation including TMS interaction and carrier/customer contract auditing and accounts receivable


* Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word & Excel)

It’d be great if you also have:


* Bachelor’s degree



* Excellent verbal and written communication skills


* Ability to work independently and in a team environment in fast paced, dynamic environment


* Highly organized work style with the proven ability to multitask and prioritize workloads


* Demonstrated analytical skills; ability to effectively identify and resolve problems
