Job Summary

Provides administrative support to the Craft Workforce Development department.

Plans and coordinates processes associated with Talent Development initiatives surrounding craft and administrative training.

Craft Workforce Development's role as a trusted advisor across the company by building and maintaining effective working relationships with employee owners.

Prioritizes, plans, and initiates work activities within the department.

Acts as a central point of contact for all Craft Workforce Development needs of employee owners and team, including internal and external inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

1.

Accurately maintains all records, including but not limited to internal and third party Learning Management Systems, employee training and performance, job descriptions, and sub-contractor records.
2.

Consults with employee owners, their managers, and departments in maintaining craft training performance requirements and coaches' staff regarding the NCCER process.
3.

Maintain all craft development and apprenticeship records and reports.
4.

Maintain the NCCER Master and Craft Trainer Certification Program and responsible for NCCER reports and managing the internal audit process.
5.

May facilitate or teach selected classes through live or remote (webinar) delivery.
6.

Participates in Craft Workforce Development research and development activities.
7.

Plans and facilitates internal and external training and performance events, including food, required materials, travel arrangements for attendees, and customer service to external guests.
8.

Provides technical support to employee-owners on Craft Workforce Development technologies, include the Learning Management System.
9.

Serves as the initial point of contact for telephone and email inquiries to the department and responds in a timely and professional manner.

Minimum Job Requirements

1.

A minimum of 3-4 years administrative support experience and one to three years of training and/or human resources support experience.

2.

Must be proficient in English and Spanish.
3.

Experience with Learning Management Systems software is highly preferred.
4.

High school graduate or equivalent is required.
