We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VMware Engineer to join our team.

As a VMware Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's virtualization infrastructure.

Your role will involve overseeing VMware administration, virtual machine management, troubleshooting, and ensuring the performance, availability, and security of our virtualized environment.

This position offers a flexible hybrid/telecommute schedule.

The onsite and telecommute arrangement is determined by the site team and may change based on government or operational needs.

Candidates should reside within a commutable distance and be able to report onsite as required by the government customer.

- Design and implement VMware vSphere virtualization solutions, including server consolidation, high availability, and disaster recovery.

- Configure and maintain VMware ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and other VMware components.

- Monitor virtual infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to ensure optimal resource utilization.

- Provision, deploy, and manage virtual machines (VMs), templates, and snapshots.

- Implement and maintain security measures for virtualized environments, including access controls, network segmentation, and VM isolation.

- Create and maintain documentation related to virtualization configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

Minimum Requirements

TCS194, T2, Band 5

-This position requires a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent

- 7+ years of experience in the related field

- An active Secret Clearance is required

- Proven experience as a VMware Engineer or similar role, with expertise in designing and managing VMware vSphere environments.

- Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere features and capabilities, including vCenter Server, ESXi hosts, vMotion, HA, DRS, and vSAN.
