ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


* In charge of the Quality of one or several sectors


* Ensure that the Process Control Plan is applied and consistent with Failure Mode & Effect Analysis (FMEA)


* Lead Process Audits and Process FMEAs


* Create and maintain quality control documentation, insure related training and application in the sector.


* Manage derogations.


* Lead continuous improvement on its production lines.


* Lead containment actions, root cause analysis of quality issue and problem solving on his sector.


* Be a member of the Short Interval Management (SIM) of the production lines.


* Provide inputs and challenge about quality for new evolution (PMP and PEP), contribute to process/control capability implementation.


* Be the local expert of the assembled products in his sector.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


* BS Engineering field.


* 5+ years of experience in Quality/Manufacturing enviroment


* Drawing interpretation for GD&T as pero ASME Y14.5 or equvalent.


* Inspection sampling plans knowledge using C=0, ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 (MIL-STD-105)


* Knowledge of Quality Tools using SPC, FMEA, DOE, 8D, 5Why, etc.


* Kaikaku or 6-Sigma experience


* Knowledge of Quality Improvement methodologies and related statistical tools and techniques.


* Knowledge of process sheets and control plan, measuring instruments, statistical techniques, metrology, JIT, Lean Manufacturing, Six sigma, and other SPC quality tools


* Experience in processes that include Plastic Molding, Metal Stamping, Electronic Components & Assembly, Cable Harness, Metallurgy, Electrical Power Transfer, Paint and Coatings, etc.


* ISO 9001:2015 knowledge.

Internal Audit Certification Preferred.


* Manage large and difficult projects.
