District Attorney Secretary (Banning)

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Riverside County District Attorney's Office is seeking to fill a District Attorney Secretary position in Banning.

As a District Attorney Secretary, the incumbent will perform a variety of legal secretarial, clerical, and administrative duties to support multiple leadership positions within the District Attorney's Office.

The incumbent will be responsible for calendar management, coordinating schedules and meetings; tracking and maintaining various spreadsheets and data; preparing monthly statistical reports; creating presentations including various types of visual data; creating and designing flyers for advertisements and notices; processing reimbursement and payment requests; and performing other related duties as required.

Competitive applicants will possess:


* Previous work experience in a secretarial or stenographic capacity.


* Complex scheduling experience, managing calendars for multiple leadership personnel.


* Experience aggregating statistical reports, using intermediate level Excel functions.


* Experience creating PowerPoint presentations that effectively display various types of visual data, including charts, tables, and graphics.


* Experience creating flyers and digital content using design software, such as Canva and PowerPoint.


* Experience processing reimbursement and payment requests.

•Types correspondence, reports, memoranda, legal case records, and documents, orders, payrolls, statistical data (e.g., charts, tables, graphs) from rough drafts, marginal notes, or general instructions.

•Schedules appointments and relieves supervisor of administrative detail, such as, checking time and attendance reports and approving purchase requisitions; assists in carrying out administrative policies and procedures.

•Takes and transcribes dictation from voice recording, shorthand, speedwriting, stenography, or steno script; takes and types minutes of meetings.
