Key Responsibilities


* Manages and maintains quality control objectives that maximize safety and compliance with company standards and regulations.


* Assists in designing, developing, and implementing quality programs and standards.

Communicates quality standards and ensure the plant personnel’s adherence to quality programs.


* Identifies issues relating to products, processes, and quality.

Collaborates with the team to resolve identified issues.


* Troubleshoots system-related issues with the quality system and provides product technical support to the plant quality team.


* Assists with preparation and provides support for internal and external quality audits.


* Assists colleagues with questions related to safety, programs, and compliance.


* Provides guidance and training to less experienced team members.


* Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience


* Typically possesses Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and 8-12 years of relevant experience.

Knowledge and Skills


* Possesses knowledge or experience with quality assurance/control in a production setting.


* Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills.


* Possesses strong project management skills.


* Ability to operate various types of testing equipment.


* Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local regulations, and ISO 9000 standards is a plus.


* Quality/engineering certifications are a plus.


* Travel may be required.
