Medical Records Director-H

Responsibilities:


* Oversee the management and maintenance of all medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.


* Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of patient records.


* Coordinate with healthcare providers and staff to facilitate efficient recordkeeping processes.


* Implement and maintain electronic medical records systems, with preference given to experience with PCC.


* Train and educate staff on proper medical record documentation procedures and compliance requirements.


* Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of medical records processes into patient care workflows.


* Develop and enforce policies and procedures related to medical records management.


* Conduct regular audits to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:


* Previous experience in medical records management, with preference given to candidates with experience in PCC.


* Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.


* Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Health Information Management, or related field a plus!


* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping.


* Proficiency in electronic medical records systems, with experience in PCC preferred.


* Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to medical records management, including HIPAA regulations.


* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.


* RN or LPN, not required but a plus!

Pay: $23.00 - $34.00 per hour depending on experience and education.
