Medicare Provider Data Quality & Accuracy Internal Monitoring Advisor

Summary

The Audit, Controls & Compliance Advisor will support the Internal Monitoring function within the Provider Data Quality & Accuracy (PDQA) team.

They will help execute monitoring programs to identify data accuracy issues which negatively impact our ability to meet specific goals and metrics, as defined by business and regulatory requirements.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities



* Support the development and implementation of a comprehensive internal audit plan.


* Conduct audits to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and regulatory compliance.


* Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, risks, and recommendations for improvements.

Qualifications

They should also have the following skillset and characteristics.

Preferred Qualifications:


* Bachelor's degree


* At least 5 years of relevant experience, i.e.

internal audit, compliance, risk management.


* Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, internal controls, and audit standards.


* Preferred experience working in SAM3 or similar auditing tools.


* Demonstrated ability to work at both conceptual & detailed levels.


* Willingness to share opinions and take risks.


* Creative thinker with ability to think outside the box & translate strategies into actions.


* Must possess strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.


* Strong, clear, concise, and analytical written and oral communication skills.

Direct reports

This position will not have direct reports.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 80,600 - 134,300 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
