Senior DevOps Engineer

As our Senior DevOps Engineer, you'd be joining our R&D Software Engineering team in Andover, MA.

In this position you will play a critical role in driving innovation, security, and reliability for our cloud-based platform.

What is the product?

In Core Software we develop and maintain a software portfolio used by Data Center Managers across the world to optimize their data center operations and keep an eye on the health of their Data Centers.

The product is a multi-tenant Software-as-a-Service designed for scalability and high availability, and provides DCIM functionality within Planning, Modelling, Monitoring, Management, Environmental and Security features.

Most teams are organized as stream-aligned teams with full end-to-end responsibility for a specific area of the solution.

What will you be doing?


* Translate requirements into solutions using Jira and Confluence as our main planning and collaboration tools.


* Provide expertise in incident response and participate in on-call rotations.


* Manage Kubernetes clusters to orchestrate containerized workloads in a distributed environment.


* Implement, support, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and ArgoCD.


* Implement, support, and maintain authentication and authorization mechanisms within Azure.


* Configure and manage monitoring and alerting systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability of the infrastructure and applications.


* Develop tools and scripts to automate routine tasks and streamline operational workflows using Terraform or Ansible.


* Participate in design discussions and provide recommendations for improving scalability, performance, and security of the solutions.


* Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to DevOps, cloud computing, and data center management.


* Mentor junior team members, share knowledge, and contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
