Responsibilities:


* Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans designed to improve patient mobility, strength, and functional abilities.


* Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the Physical Therapist for necessary adjustments to the care plan.


* Educate patients and families on exercises and techniques to promote continued progress at home.


* Document patient treatments and progress accurately and in a timely manner.


* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and facility policies.

Qualifications:


* Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.


* Current California PTA license.


* Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred.


* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care.


* Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
