Digital Finance & Business Management - Senior Associate

The Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) Finance & Business Management team is committed to supporting the strategic and financial objectives of the business, while ensuring a sound control environment and complying with all legal and regulatory requirements.

As a Senior Associate in Digital Finance & Business Management, you will be supporting the Design and Customer Experience team by optimizing planned spend, acting as a trusted advisor, and being responsible for identifying, escalating, and mitigating financial risks to plan.

You will also provide financial and strategic analysis, oversight and coordination of budgeting and forecasting, financial control, analysis of financial/business metrics, delivery of weekly/monthly/quarterly management reporting, development of new reporting capabilities (e.g.

dashboards), and advising the line of business Chief Financial Officers on how to increase profitability and efficiencies.

For this role, candidates must be able to physically work in either our Wilmington, DE or Columbus, OH offices 3 days per week and remotely from home 2 days per week.

The specific schedule will be determined and communicated by direct management.

Job responsibilities


* Coordinate financial budgeting & forecasting and produce reporting and analysis related to the Design and Customer Experience operating expenses and headcount


* Serve as a liaison between finance organizations (lines of business, functional Chief Financial Officers, and other) support teams in order to provide impactful reporting, planning and insightful analyses


* Produce presentations, analysis and supporting materials for key internal clients including senior management


* Create, maintain and review financial models and analyses (both recurring and ad-hoc)


* Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all financial reporting, system updates and presentations


* Provide updates on progress vs.

key metrics


* Conduct "deep dive" analyses on key issues to determine root cause and propose solutions


* Collaborate with business partners to ensure the timely, accurate and effective delivery of recurring and ad-hoc initiatives


* Enhance controls and streamline processes, introducing automation where possible


* Build and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders


* Participate and support ad-hoc special projects and requests as needed

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills


* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field


* 4+ years of relevant experience


* Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint and Essbase


* Strong written and verbal communications skills


* Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills


* Ability to navigate multiple data sets and synthesize into cohesive presentation and recommendations
