The Opportunity


* Seeking Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners.


* Emergency Medicine experience is highly preferred and will be considered first; Urgent Care experience will be considered.


* Current national certification, DEA, ACLS, and BLS are required.


* Current IL state license is a plus.

The Practice

Advocate Sherman Medical Center - Elgin, Illinois


* Advocate Sherman Hospital's newly built 28-bed Emergency Department sees 50,000+ annual ED patient visits.


* The ED has been the area resource hospital for the training of nearly 300 paramedics for over 25 years, which enables the hospital to be responsible for emergency patients before they arrive at any area hospital through 24-hour communication that network with paramedics and emergency transports.


* Recipient of Magnet Recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center, the 2011 Silver Award from the Lincoln Foundation for Performing Excellence, the Joint Commission's National Quality Approval, and is also an accredited Chest Pain Center.
