The Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City (Bank) has an immediate opening for an Assistant Vice President (AVP) in the Supervision and Risk Management (SRM) Division.
The AVP role is responsible for strategy alignment and implementation; developing operating plans to achieve goals and objectives for assigned business areas and ensuring performance that supports the overall Bank mission; and managing the development, growth, and succession of employees.

This position requires capabilities, experiences, and skills commensurate with leading a diverse group of managers and individual contributors, and interacting with, and influencing, peers throughout the System.
The position will provide leadership and day-to-day oversight of the Statistics and Data Management department (SDM).

SDM provides data management services for 10th District regulatory data collections and oversees a variety of data quality and collection services associated with core supervision activities.

In the near term, the position will also serve as the local business change executive for the implementation of transformational national Supervision and Regulation (S&R) technology initiatives.

* Ensures compliance with control standards and procedures, and measures and monitors progress to ensure goals are achieved.


* Identifies opportunities to, and implements, initiatives to reduce costs and improve efficiencies/productivity, as appropriate.


* Builds and maintains productive working relationships with peers within the Bank, the Federal Reserve System, and other stakeholders.


* Participates as the 10th District’s member of the System group, the Committee on Current Reporting Series (CCRS), and back-up member for the Steering Committee for Report Review (SCRR).


* Serves as the data owner for the FR 2028D - Small Business Lending Survey.


* Ensures data management activities that support System and District supervisory processes meet service level expectations.


* Leads and participates on key national governance groups for the Statistics business line.
