Software Engineer

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Provide technical leadership and coaching.

Participate in pre-project business development activities including ROM estimates, technical feasibility analysis, and design of new product solutions.

Provided technical leadership and assume overall accountability for successful implementation phases on all client projects.

Oversee and manage team members to ensure solutions are properly structured, specified, and developed, and partner with the QA team to ensure quality.

Collaborate with technical leads to establish the direction for all aspects of the origination technology practice.

Establish protocols and promote improvements in technical operations including building and deployment automation, external monitoring, and implementation of back office tools.

Lead the development of a new travel-based product.

Manage teams for enterprise clients and oversee technical analysis and reviews, client communication, delivery of technical trainings, and team development.

Lead software development team and interface with product principles and SPOCs (single point of contact).

Monitor team members' day-to-day activities.

Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.

Review all work produced by the development team to ensure codes produced met company standards.

Manage client interaction and expectations regarding development efforts.

Resolved and/or escalate issues.

Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus 7 years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Specialist - Cloud Software and Services, Associate Consultant, Associate, Programmer Analyst, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Windows 10; Agile SDLC; Application Architecture Disciplines; Microservices; Jenkins; NodeJS; CSS; HTML; Javascript; JQuery; SQL; Typescript; XML; Angular; Bootstrap; REST; SOAP; JSON; AWS Cloud Services; GIT; Automated Testing; Unit Testing; .NET; and C#.
