Satellite Engineer

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:


* Manages the health and safety of on orbit Electrical Power Subsystem


* Performs short-term and long-term data analysis and trending

Required Skills/Abilities:


* Has minimum 6 to 8 years Satellite EPS experience (or equivalent)


* Has excellent written and verbal communication skills


* Possesses deep understanding of lithium-ion batteries


* Has thorough knowledge of solar arrays, power conditioning and distribution, and associated components


* Demonstrates proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and SQL


* Has familiarity and/or can attain an understanding of
+ Thermal subsystem
+ STK
+ Orbital dynamics

Education and Experience:


* Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (or other STEM equivalent)
