Consumer Claims Coordinator

The Consumer Claims Coordinator is responsible for reviewing/investigating all end-use consumer product claims.

This individual is responsible for investigating and providing final resolutions for claims for consumer product refunds, consumer product property damage and consumer product personal injury reimbursement matters.

In some instances, particularly consumer product property damage and personal injury matters, the Consumer Claims Coordinator is responsible for determining if the claim will require escalation to the Risk Management team.

The Consumer Claims Coordinator is also responsible for the proper recording and storage/archiving of all consumer claims information and providing routine quarterly and annual consumer claims reports as requested.

Additionally, the Consumer Claims Coordinator is responsible finding innovative ways to improve and expedite the consumer claims process, as well as providing claims knowledge when needed in other areas.

Qualifications • Minimum high school diploma: College degree preferred • Minimum 2 years' experience in a high-volume consumer engagement, deadline driven environment • Minimum 2 years' experience in consumer claims/ conflict resolution handling an asset • Experience in a service role directly with the end user/consumer • Bilingual French/English preferred, but not required • Ability to meet tight deadlines and accuracy standards • Attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong oral and written communication skills • A reliable and adaptable team payer that is service oriented • Ability to be f...
