      <description><![CDATA[Ardurra seeks a  Transportation Designer  to join our team in  Phoenix  AZ   This position is to report to the Phoenix  AZ office but hybrid work options could be considered for the right candidate  Primary Duties  As part of our Arizona team  you will have the opportunity to be a part of the growing Ardurra family in our Transportation Engineering practices  You will be working directly under a Professional Engineer supporting our company growth in Arizona and a wide variety of exciting transportation projects throughout the region         Develop technical design elements  plans  specifications and cost estimates for a wide variety of municipal transportation engineering projects that include the following elements  geometric design  horizontal and vertical alignment  intersection layout  sight distance determination  roadway drainage  and right of way plans         Produce construction documents that include typical roadway sections  plan and profile drawings  removal plans  and detail sheets         Provide technical support to fellow team members    preparation of erosion control plans  drainage plans and profiles  utility plans  traffic signal plans  pavement marking plans  and signing plans   Education and Experience Requirements        BS in Civil Engineering or related field  preferred         5+ years of experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D        3+ years of experience working as a transportation project designer        Ability to apply design standards from a vari]]></description>
