Supermicro is looking to hire ODM System Product Managers to manage ODM, customized and optimized Server Computer products for strategic major customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
• Support Sales Teams in technical fields when engaging and developing customized or ODM products
• Engage with Sales, FAE, Solution experts and customers to define product requirements
• Conduct Product Development processes, coordinate and arrange engineering resources for the customization while monitoring and maintaining project schedule to meet customer's targets
• Define Product Configurations and release BOM for materials and operation teams
• Plan and arrange resources on engineering samples for customers and internal requirements to do validation testing on the customization products
• Conduct New Product Introduction (NPI) management and support Production lines for smooth product delivery
• Coordinate and drive solutions for any technical/quality issues found during mass-production and sustaining stages
• Control any Product Changes through quality processes during the whole life cycle
• Solicit and collect customers and market requirements for Supermicro standard server product planning
Qualifications:
• Education: BS/MS EE, CE, CS, or other engineering fields preferred
• Must have at least 5 years of computer hardware related experiences.
Experienced in configuring server systems are preferred
• Experiences in project management for OEM/ODM electronic appliances are okay
• Strong knowledge with computer hardware or data center network architectures.
• Work Experiences in Electronics Manufacturers will be a plus.
• Ability to work independently with customer but excellent in teamwork with colleagues.
