Job Description:
Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) is responsible for the day to day activities in the rehabilitation department of an assigned facility or facilities.
This includes but is not limited to: the delivery of direct and indirect services to inpatients and out-patients, supervision of all therapy personnel, interviewing and recommending new hires, and training of all therapy personnel.
The DOR is responsible for implementation of new programs to meet the needs of the facility and the residents.
Is delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out all assigned duties to provide both clinical and operational oversight to the delivery of rehabilitative services.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and /or Speech Language Pathology.
Prefer graduates of Masters or Doctorate Program in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and /or Speech Language Pathology.
Proficient in computer skills such as inputting data into programs such as Casamba and Point Click Care.
