The (Technical) Account Manager (TAM) is a key affiliate position for delivering customer value to our poultry accounts and stakeholders (nutritionists, feed advisors, farmers, vets).
This is a field-based account manager role (75%) with the possibility to manage and execute technical business-oriented projects (25%).
The ultimate objective is to add significant value to our customers and to improve the overall business results of Elanco’s intestinal health portfolio.
Position Objectives/Responsibilities:
* Create and capture customer and Elanco value with our poultry customers, personally and in conjunction with colleagues
* Develop plans and align within the poultry team in order to maximize our impact
* Initiate and pursue product and non-product value-added strategies for all account levels, up to the farmer
* Be recognized by our customers as a valuable sparring partner, also beyond Elanco’s product portfolio
* Identify and capture market opportunities for our poultry portfolio and services
* Manage and execute technical business-oriented projects
* Able and accountable to conduct & execute ‘field demo-trials’
* Pro-actively represent Elanco with key stakeholders, key opinion leaders and customers, positioning our products, services, capabilities and corporate brand
* Master consultative skills and strategic planning
Minimum Qualification (education, experience and/or training, required certifications):
* MSc in animal science or veterinary medicine or academic title with interest for animal science
* Great business acumen, customer focus and a passion for customer interactions in the field
* 1 to 5 years of experience in Animal sector
* Effective presenter of technical materials in both written and oral forums is key

For Incoming pt calls:
- Assistance to patients regarding medical bills
-Assistance to attorneys for billing records
-Any assigned duties/Special project
-Processing of CC from Prognocis through Integrity/Paypros/entering data in Papaya
-Patient Accounts are noted appropriately in Prognocis
-Billing actions like billed to patient, insurance, write off, pt payment posting will be taken by PFS
