Assistant Supervisor Position Summary:
The Assistant Supervisor/Peer Specialist is responsible for the oversight and management of service delivery, administrative procedures, and day-to-day operation of the Monroe County Peer Advocate program.
Assistant Supervisor Job Responsibilities:
* Support the overall administration and day-to-day operation of the Peer Advocate program.
* Ensure all staff receives training on all of the core competencies including Motivational Interviewing and Trauma Informed service delivery.
* Ensure accurate and timely data collection and that program indicators for success are being met demonstrating program effectiveness.
* Completes all required documentation, in timelines in accordance with program standards.
* Respond to and effectively handle emergency situations that may require flexibility of both time and area of assignment.
Share on call responsibility with staff.
Takes necessary action to ensure staff coverage, appropriate crisis interventions, untoward incident notification and staff debriefing.
Assistant Supervisor Qualifications:
Must possess at a minimum a Bachelor's Degree in the field of human services.
Certified Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor or a Licensed Master Social Worker with at least three years of relevant work experience in the behavioral healthcare field and eighteen months of supervisory experience working in a SUD rehab/treatment setting preferred.
Must identify self as a current or former recipient of mental health, substance use, or medical services with a willingness to share personal experience appropriately and respectfully is preferred.
Should possess both a full CRPA certification and a NYS Certified Peer Recovery Advocate Certification upon hire or be willing to obtain certification within one year of hire date.

Reporting to the Director, Information Technology, the Junior Software Developer Trainee designs solution-focused software on various platforms for Signature Health.
The Junior Software Developer Trainee will provide support and participate with troubleshooting existing SH applications.
The Junior Software Developer Trainee will help identify the needs of end users and assist with outlining technical requirements and specifications.
HOW YOU'LL SUCCEED:
* Define and prioritize software development goals under the direction of the Director, Information Technology.
* Collaborate with Software Developers and other internal customers to identify end-user requirements and specifications.
* Design algorithms and flowcharts to create new software programs and systems producing efficient and elegant code based on requirements.
* Test and deploy programs and applications.
* Troubleshoot, debug, maintain and improve existing software
* Compile and assess user feedback to improve software performance.
* Observe user feedback to recommend improvements to existing software products.
* Develop technical documentation to guide future software development projects.

SCOPE OF ROLE
Reporting to the Supervisor, Behavioral Health Services, the Counselor will provide counseling services to both adult and children who are experiencing behavioral and emotional difficulties.
The scope of services may be provided either in an individual, group, or family setting.
You will utilize a team focused treatment plan approach to provide clients with exceptional therapeutic intervention services.
HOW YOU'LL SUCCEED
* Conduct individual, group, or family therapy for both adults and children.

* Familiarity of state and federal healthcare regulations.
