What You Will Do
Some core responsibilities for a Torque Technician include:
* Torque Tech is responsible for the executing technical bolting and joint integrity services in accordance with approved site and company procedures.
* Must have knowledge in operating calibrated tools, including torque wrenches, pneumatic and hydraulic torquing equipment.
Must be able to calibrate pneumatic and hydraulic torquing equipment to desire torque pressure.
* Able to identify and use all tools and equipment necessary to perform assigned work.
* Able to properly bolt up flanges using correct materials as indicated on the BOM.
* Able to identify when a flange connection in not properly installed, hi/lo, wrong gasket or bolts.

* Moving the entire body.
Considerable use of arms, legs, climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, crawling, twisting, reaching, and bending on a regular basis.
* Must be able to work on elevated platforms and maintain balance when stepping on narrow platforms such as beams and pipes.
Must be able to perform these activities while wearing an approved full-body harness and lanyard.
