The Role
As an Electrical Engineering Intern, you will work closely with our team of experienced engineers on various projects related to the function of the foundry.
You will have the opportunity to apply your theoretical knowledge to real-world problems, develop technical skills, and contribute to the success of our projects.
Responsibilities include supporting the engineering team with tasks spanning all aspects of workflow, maximizing team productivity, ensuring adherence to best practices and regulations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to overcome technical challenges and meet project objectives.

* Strong communication skills.
* Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
Physical requirements
Must have full range of body motion. Certain operations require repetitive bending, squatting and full arm extension. Manual lifting, not exceeding fifty (50) pounds may be required. Able to visit various manufacturing environments.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
* Designs and implements safety programs and recommends ways to improve health and safety in the facility.

Job Summary:
This position will be responsible for the engineering of electrical and SCADA systems for the City of Greeley Water and Sewer department.
The responsibilities will include working with Engineering, OT division and Operations for electrical, instrumentation and controls components planning, project management, designs, and construction of various Water & Sewer facility systems.
Projects range in size and complexity from small utility regulator station upgrades to large metering and regulation or compressor station projects.
The city is seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer to support and lead projects and design efforts for water and wastewater treatment plant projects, pump stations, electrical equipment replacements, and SCADA upgrade projects.
The engineer in this role will work with project managers, operations staff, consulting lead electrical engineers, designers, and other engineering disciplines to ensure that project quality, budget, and schedule are met.

Level II:
* Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from ABET accredited program and successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering (FE/EIT).
* Three (3) to seven (7) years related experience (completion of master’s degree in related field may be substituted for one year of experience).
* Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer in Training (EIT) that must have ability to obtain Colorado Professional Engineers license within one year.
Level III:
* Seven (7) to fifteen (15) years of experience in consulting electrical engineering or related work experience;

All Levels:
* Experience in the design, construction, and oversight of electricals projects.
