Primary Function:
Performs detailed structural engineering analysis and design work for projects of varying size, type and complexity.
The incumbent must have a working knowledge of conventional aspects of design engineering and be capable of planning and conducting tasks requiring code interpretation in the analysis and design evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation and modification to meet the requirements of the building code and standards referenced therein so as to produce a finished work product that proves the analysis, design engineering, and project criteria are adequate to protect the health, safety and welfare of the public.
