We are seeking a Health Psychologist to:
* Spend approximately 50% of the time working in Adult Transplant and 50% on the Inpatient Consultation Liaison service.
* Provide clinical services to patients undergoing organ transplant at our highly-regarded and growing UW Health Transplant Center.
This includes conducting pre-transplant evaluations, providing individual health and behavior interventions to patients throughout their transplant journey in both outpatient and inpatient medical settings, and working as part of the interdisciplinary Transplant Healthcare team.
* Deliver health and behavior interventions to patients receiving inpatient medical care at University Hospital as part of a consultation-liaison service.
* Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver evidence-based best practice in health psychology, focusing on adjustment to hospitalization, coping with new medical diagnoses, processing poor prognosis, non-pharmacological pain management, grief, and related issues.
Consultation is provided to patients on services across the hospital including Hematology/Oncology, Trauma Surgery, Cardiothoracic units, Neurosurgery, Neurology, transplant services, and Vascular Surgery, among others.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and medical rounds.
* Potentially participate in supervision of Health Psychology trainees and contribute to program development.

Strategy Development:

* Drawing interpretation for GD&T as pero ASME Y14.5 or equvalent.
* Inspection sampling plans knowledge using C=0, ANSI/ASQ Z1.4 (MIL-STD-105)
* Knowledge of Quality Tools using SPC, FMEA, DOE, 8D, 5Why, etc.
* Kaikaku or 6-Sigma experience
* Knowledge of Quality Improvement methodologies and related statistical tools and techniques.
* Knowledge of process sheets and control plan, measuring instruments, statistical techniques, metrology, JIT, Lean Manufacturing, Six sigma, and other SPC quality tools
* Experience in processes that include Plastic Molding, Metal Stamping, Electronic Components & Assembly, Cable Harness, Metallurgy, Electrical Power Transfer, Paint and Coatings, etc.
* ISO 9001:2015 knowledge.
Internal Audit Certification Preferred.
* Manage large and difficult projects.
