Qualifications

One year of hospital Pharmacy Technician experience preferred, or completion of an externship at El Camino Hospital.

Job Description
To provide quality pharmaceutical antimicrobial, oncology,neonatal and pediatric, and emergency medicine management or other specialized clinical pharmacy services to inpatients, outpatients, employees and the general public.

Qualifications – All
Doctorate degree pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from an approved college of pharmacy.
* One (1) year accredited pharmacy residency.
* One (1) year experience in compiling medication use evaluation (MUE) data or equivalent quality assurance (QA) data for Pharmacy and Therapeutics (P&T) Committee.
Assignment Specific Qualifications:
Oncology
A minimum of 2 years in an oncology practice or completion of a PGY2 Pharmacy Residency in Oncology.
Antimicrobial
A minimum of 2 years in a hospital pharmacy antimicrobial practice or completion of a PGY2 Pharmacy Residency in Infectious Disease.
Transition of Care
A minimum of 2 years in a transition of care pharmacist practice
Neonatal/Pediatric Management
A minimum of 2 years in a hospital pharmacy with neonatal and pediatric practice or completion of a PGY2 Pharmacy Residency in Pediatrics.
Emergency Medicine
A minimum of 2 years in a hospital pharmacy emergency department practice or completion of a PGY2 Pharmacy Residency in Emergency Medicine.
