Job Summary:
Manufacturing Engineer that will focus on manufacturing and testing of night vision power supplies.
A successful candidate for this job will be passionate about finding root causes for tough yield issues and resolute about fixing them.
Yields will focus on firmware controlled, high voltage, and low current power "supply" for night vision devices.
Daily tasks will include but not be limited to:
* Using data analysis techniques to help identify and understand causes of yield issues
* Conducting experiments/tests to evaluate operating characteristics of products or processes; Using process equipment, test instruments, and precision gauges in appropriate situations.
* Optimizing manufacturing, testing processes/equipment and implementing cost reduction opportunities (yield and productivity improvements, waste elimination, reduce touch time)
* Conducting failure analysis on failed parts to determine root cause and best corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
* Partnering with Production Supervisor/Managers, production team, area technicians, other area engineers, and R&D engineer for best product flow and downstream yields
* Working to minimize or eliminate safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity problems.
Qualifications:
* BS or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, materials, chemical engineering or similar
* 2+ years technical experience in a manufacturing environment doing yield and process improvement work
* This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a security clearance
* Exceptional analytical skills
* Knowledge of failure analysis methods for encapsulated electronic devices.
* Indepth knowledge of statistical analysis techniques and SPC
* Effective communication and documentation skills

* Graduate of an AMA accredited educational program for Respiratory Care.

* 1 year experience with Pulmonary Function Diagnostics.
